‘Simhachalam Devasthanam to build 100 marriage halls’, says Ashok Gajapati Raju

The hereditary trustee of Sri Varahalakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam and Union Minister for Civil Aviation P.Ashok Gajapati Raju on Friday said that it would construct 100 marriage halls in the coming two years.

Releasing the book brought by ‘The Hindu’ news paper, he said that the annual fair of the temple ‘Chandanotsavam’, he said that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has agreed upon the proposal. He said that Kalayana Mandapam will be given free of cost and at the same time there will be high-end ones for those who can afford and will be a revenue generation platform for the temple.

On the solar initiative of the temple, he said it would generate 1mw power that caters to the electricity needs and devastanam will be saving Rs.90 lakh per annum.
