150 bed hospital constructed at a cost of Rs.33 crore inaugurated

Minister for Medical and Health Education Kamineni Srinivasa Rao today inaugurated 150 bed NTR Regional Hospital constructed at a cost of Rs.33 crore at Narsipatnam.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamineni Srinivas said that the hospital was build with modern facilities. He said that the hospital was equipped with dialysis facility and X-ray unit. Tabs were given to 16,000 ANMs and the details of all the pregnant women were being recorded.

Minister for R&B Ch.Ayyanna Patrudu said that the hospital was a long cherished dream and expressed happiness that it was materialized. He said that the hospital was established in 1905 was upgraded as 100 bed NTR Hospital in 1987.

The Ministers earlier inaugurated a skating rink constructed at Laccha Patrudu Park at a cost of Rs.25 lakh with VUDA assistance. They felicitated CMR Group MD Mavuri Venkata Ramana who had donated a vehicle for the ‘Mahaprastanam’ programme and Kopparthi Rama Rao and his wife who contributed Rs.15 lakh for setting up of the Sujala Sravanthi plant and installation of an idol of Lord Shiva.

Anakapalli MP M.Srinivasa Rao, MLCs MVVS Murty and Chalapathi Rao along with District Collector Pravin Kumar were present on the occasion.
