ACP K.Prabhakar to receive medal from Chief Minister

Assistant Commissioner of Police (traffic) Kinjarapu Prabhakar from the city will be receiving the Indian Police Medal form the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Independence Day function to be held at Tirupati.

K.Prabhakar who joined the police service as Sub-inspector in 1991 and worked in various capacities in extremist affected areas, Special Branch Extremist Wing and also in Anakapalli Town police station, Kancharapalem Law and Order and I Town Law and Order in the city. He was elevated to the position of DSP in 2011. He received 35 cash rewards, 89 good service entries, 11 commendations and five merit certificates during his 24 years of service.

The officers to receive Indian Police Medals are Sub-inspector (Special branch) M.Srinivasa Rao and constable with CCRB P.Madhava Rao from Visakhapatnam Police commissionerate.
