Chandrababu Naidu lays foundation stone for underground cable project

Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu today laid foundation stone for underground cable project of APEPDCL.

The stone was laid at the 33/11 kv sub-station at Pandurangapuram which will be part of the project. After laying foundation stone, he said the idea was conceived after the city was devastated by cyclone Hudhud in October 2014 and this will be a milestone. The network will be practically unaffected by cyclones or natural calamities, hence resistant to natural disasters.

The period of execution would be in 18 months and households that are going to be benefitted would be around two lakh, said CMD of APEPDCL H.Y.Dora.
