E-Sahai medical taxi and ambulance service launched

A medical taxi and ambulance ‘e-Sahai’ was launched today.

The seat next to the driver’s seat can be rotated 90 degrees outside. A physically challenged person, sitting in the front can be moved along with the seat which can be rotated and moved 15 inches outside the vehicle. The wheel chair can be moved close to the seat and the person can be transferred to it’, said e-Sahai founder and CEO Hari Bharadwaj.

‘This is the first time such a facility has been launched in Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam has been chosen as a pilot destination. As of now, we will begin with one taxi and have plans to enhance the number to 25 in the coming days’, he said.

Those requiring the services of assistants could also avail of trained assistants to take care of mobility needs while on the move. He said that it is a medical emergency services bring together a fleet of private ambulance onto a single platform, where users can avail of the services through mobile app ‘eShai’.
