Eamcet- one-minute late rule will not be enforced

AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today said that the government has issued instructions to the authorities concerned at the Eamcet-2017 to not enforce ‘one minute’ late rule.

Eamcet is being conducted across the State through online for the first time and the three day window period will start from Monday. He said that if a student is late by 5 to 10 minutes, he or she will be allowed based on the genuineness of the case and the decision will be taken by the coordinator at the centre on the spot.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that they will release the key to the online test at Kakinada at 8am on Monday. He said that all arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the Eamcet. A total of 156 test centres were identified for the examination across the State and Telangana State. The engineering examination will be held from April 24 to 26 and the agriculture related examination will be conducted on April 28.
