Eight employees of Sub-Registrar office transferred following ACB raids.

The State government today transferred eight employees of the Sub-Registrar’s office following unearthing of unaccounted money during a raid by ACB recently.

Sources said that almost the entire team at the Sub-Registrar’s office was transferred following allegations of corruption. The employees were already hand-in-glove with document writers and stamp vendors. ACB DSP K.Ramakrishna Prasad said that during the raids, they seized unaccounted money of Rs.2 lakh including Rs.74,000 from a scooter of an office attendant and Rs.50,000 from a stamp vendor.
