Flotilla Awards given away

The annual Flotilla Awards ceremony for the year 2016-17 was held at Naval Dock yard preemies on Friday. Naval Officer-in-Charge, Andhra Pradesh, Commodore Sanjeev Issar was the chief guest at the impressive traditional naval ceremony and presented awards to the ships of the flotilla excelling in different facets of operations. The event was conducted to recognize overall excellence and valuable contribution of the ships and gallantmen who have maintained constant vigil off the coast of Visakhapatnam.

INS ‘Cuddalore’ bagged the ‘Most Spirited Ship’ trophy and INS ‘Kozhikode’ was adjudged the Best Ship. Cmde.Sanjeev Issar congratulated all the award winners.
