GVMC Commissioner presents ‘Swachhata’ awards

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Commissioner N.Hari Narayan gave away ‘Swachhata’ awards to a worker each in all the wards of the city.

At a meeting organized to mark May Day celebrations at Indira Priyadarshini stadium, he said in the last Swachh Survekshan the city got the fifth rank and was likely to improve its position in the present one for which results would be declared on May 4.

Additional Commissioner (General) G.V.V.S.Murty, Chief Medical Officer (Health) A.Hemanth, zone commissioners and assistant medical officers spoke on the occasion.
