JC Diwakar Reddy creates rucks at airport following denial of boarding pass

Anantapur TDP MP J.C.Diwakar Reddy created rucks at Visakhapatnam Airport following denial of boarding pass for arriving late for the flight.

According to sources, Diwakar Reddy was scheduled to catch IndiGo flight from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad. The staff at the counter declined to give him boarding pass and reportedly offered to accommodate him on another flight. Following this, he became rage and abused the staff while trying to push one of them and pull out a printer. IndiGo Airlines has barred him from boarding its flights. Keeping the unruly behavior of the MP, Air India also barred him from boarding its flight.

Speaking to media at Hyderabad, Diwakar Reddy defended his conduct. He denied having assaulted the airline taff as alleged by the media. He said that he reached the airport half an hour before the departure of the flight and had only asked the staff whey they were not issuing the boarding pass and put my hand around the shoulder of the airline staff in a friendly manner which the media has shown out of proportion.

It may be recalled that this is not the first time that Diwakar Reddy behaved in such a manner. In earlier occasion, he had broken computers and abused Air India staff at Gannavaram airport in October last year.

ACP V.Bhima Rao said no case was booked against Diwakar Reddy and the police did not receive any complaint from the airlines office.
