Kapuluppada will be developed IT layout

Minister for Information and Technology N.Lokesh said that several companies are evincing interest in starting their operations in the city.

He said that to accommodate them, 250 acres of land will be developed at Kapuluppada IT Layout. He said that so far, 6,000 jobs had been provided in the IT sector and another 30,000 jobs would be created by March next year.

The government’s effort was directed at creating one lakh jobs in the IT sector and two lakh in electronics by next year, said Nara Lokesh. The APIIC and given to companies would be resumed if they did not start work functioning I the stipulated time, he said.
