Mahila Chetana leaders have demanded that all the 13 Greyhounds policemen who were accused in the Vakapalli rape case should be immediately arrested and the orders of the Apex Court should be implemented immediately.

Speaking to media conference today, they alleged that 11 tribal women were raped by the Greyhounds policemen at Vakapalli on August 20, 2007. They alleged that the police, government and the CB-CID had watered down the case during the last ten years forcing the victims to approach the Supreme Court.

The Apex court ordering a speedy trial in the case reaffirming the faith in the people in the judiciary, they said.
