Photo journalist Bhaskara Rao bags MA Raheem award

Noted photo journalist K.Bhaskara Rao received M.A.Raheem Best Photojournalist Award from Information and Public Relations Minister Kaluva Srinivasulu on Sunday. He was presented with a cash award of Rs.2 lakh, a citation and a memento.

An accredited freelance photographer since 1982, Bhaskara Rao was among the first few journalists of the region to cover major events in Visakhapatnam for leading media organizations. His pictures were regularly published in all leading newspapers and national magazines such as the Hindu, Outlook and India Today.
