Rath Yatra from Sunday

The nine-day Rath yatra of Sri Jagannath to be organized by the International Society for Krishna Conscious will begin on Sunday.

The Rath Yatra will see a 37 foot collapsible canopy veering on Beach Road via Kali Mata temple and Coastal Battery before stopping at Viswapriya Function hall. President of ISKCON Samba Das said that a large number of people were expected to pull the chariot on the Beach Road. Cultural programmes will be presented by Sri Krishna Nritya Kala Samithi, Simhachalam.
