The Special Investigating Team that is probing into the alleged land scam has taken the complaint filed by the BJP MLA P.Vishnu Kumar Raju on land grab in Madhurawada.

The MLA has filed a complaint that one S.Sitaram had forcibly grabbed about 7.08 acres in Madhurawada under Ward No.39. He said two acres of the land was handed over to one Gokaraju Gopala Raju in 1975 under ryotwari patta under survey number 13/1 in 1975 and another 3 acres was handed over to one K.Ammannamma and K.Narasamma under survey number 13/2 in the same year. The remaining 2.08 acres had been earmarked as government land under survey number 13/3.

Sitaram not only grabbed the land belonging to two private parties but also the government land and had gone to the extent of selling 97 sq.yards of government land through an unregistered sale deed. Thought this was brought to the notice of the concerned revenue department which did not respond but the SIT has reacted and they had approached me for more details’, said Vishnu Kumar Raju.
