Union Minister distributes Mudra loans

Union Minister for AYUSH Sripad Yesso Naik today gave away ‘Mudra’ loans totaling Rs.34.27 lakh to 175 street vendors.

At a meeting at GVMC conference hall, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced more than 100 schemes including Jan Dhan Yojana, Prime Minister Awas Yojana and ‘Mudra’ loans to benefit various sections of the people. MP K.Haribabu wanted the beneficiaries to repay the loans.

MLA P.Vishnu Kumar Raju and Municipal Commissioner M.Harinarayan spoke on the occasion.

AYUSH Hospitals for the State::

The Union Minister has said that two world-class AYUSH Hospitals, one each in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, will be set up to promote the use of the Indian systems of medicine. He inaugurated the four-day ‘National Arogya Fair-2017’, being organized by the PHD Chamber at the AU Engineer College Grounds today. He said that AIIMS like Institute for Indian systems of medicine would be opened in Delhi in the next couple of months
