  • Exchange of LED bulbs:: APEPDCL has launched a programme for replacement of damaged LED lamps supplied by Energy Efficiency Services Ltd., in the district at the designated centres on Wednesday. The bulbs will be given at sub-division offices at various centres. The consumer should show latest paid electricity bill along with Aadhaar card and produce the bulbs damaged due to manufacturing defects according to SE (Operations) TV.Surya Prakash.
  • Meet on energy:: AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation will hold a seminar on energy efficiency and conservation on Friday. It will discuss the present scenario with statistical information in energy sector, status of fossil fuels, carbon emissions, transmission and distribution losses. It will be held at Hotel Supreme near Naval Coast Battery from 3pm to 6pm.
  • Old denomination Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 notes burnt:: Some unidentified persons have reportedly burnt old denomination currency of Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 were burnt in the early hours of Thursday in the 68th ward of Akkireddypalem. Sources said that the value of the notes would be around Rs.50,000. However, police sources said that they have not received any complaint.
