  • Training in soft skills:: The Skill Development Centre of Andhra University Colleges of Arts and Commerce would provide computers and other infrastructural facilities by the State government, principal K.Gayatri Devi has said. She was speaking the valedictory of the eighth batch training programme on soft skills organized at the Lab for Skill Development on Friday.
  • 5% rebate on property tax ends on April 30:: The last date for availing of 5 per cent concession on advance payment of property tax is April 30. The GVMC Saukaryam Centres in all the zones would function on that day according to GVMC Commissioner M.Harinarayana.
  • CIFT centre diamond jubilee on Saturday:: The research centre of Central Institute of Fisheries Technology is celebrating the diamond jubilee on Saturday according to principal scientist U.Sreedhar.   • VDCA summer camp from Saturday:: Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association in association with the ‘The Hindu’ and Essar will be organizing a summer coaching camp from Saturday. The camp will be inaugurated by the District Collector Pravin Kumar at ACA-VDCA Stadium grounds at 5pm. The camp will be conducted at four centres including VDCA ‘B’ ground, GVMC stadium, Coromandel Fertilizers Campus Township and Ukku Stadium in Steel Plant Township. The camp timings will be from 6am to 9.30am for under 19 boys, from 3pm to 6.30pm for seniors.
