Poster on photo walk released

A ‘photo walk’ and an exhibition are being organized by the Vizag Photo Journalists Association with print and electronic media organizations photography clubs with the World Photography Day on August 19. The ‘photo walk’ to mark the 177th World Photography Day would be taken out from Kursura Submarine Museum on Beach Road at 6.30am on Saturday. A two-day photography exhibition would be inaugurated at 11 am on the same day.

Constable son wins logo contest

K.Kranthi Swaroop, son of head constable with City Special Branch K.Srinivasa Rao has won the Visakhapatnam City Police logo competition. This was announced by Commissioner of Police T.Yoganand today. He handed over a cash reward of Rs.20,000 to Swaroop who designed a logo fulfilling all parameters required by the police.

Two day exhibition of designer collection

A two-day exhibition of new collection of designer Puja Sahney and Sarvanamangala Chavali will be held from Friday. The exhibition is hosted by Goods of Desire. The exhibition will be open from 10.30am to 8pm at Marine Mansion, Sivalayam temple street, Beach Road.

Training camp recruitment rally

The Indian Air Force, Hyderabad will conduct a recruitment rally for Group ‘Y’ IAF (S) in Vijayawada on September 9. The Youth Welfare Department is organizing a training camp for the aspiring candidates. Those interested to join the camp are requested to come to the SETVIS office at Maharanipeta in Visakhapatnam either on August 18 or 19 at 10am.

’Anandotsav’

The Art of Living is conducting a three-day ‘Anandotsav-2017 from August 18. Those above 18 years of age are eligible to take part in the workshop that will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Friday and Saturday and from 9am to 1pm on Sunday at Sri Niranjan Meditation Hall, Dondaparthy.
