Visakhapatnam police bags prize

City Police crime team has been awarded the second prize in the State for cracking the sensational lineman case. The team comprising Circle Inspector Pydapanaidu, Sub Inspector Sherief and constable Rama Rao received the award from the DGP N.Sambasiva Rao. The DGP has constituted the ABCD Award for the best crime detection in the State.

HPCL launches ‘Sumo’ cylinder

HPCL launched a first of kits kind 425 kg LPG cylinder on Wednesday. The new ‘Sumo’ cylinder will solve the problem for high consumption customers such as hotels, convention halls and small and medium industries.

IMC condemns government decision to give legal rights to RMPs

Indian Medical Association has condemned the State government’s decision to provide legal rights to RMPs and PMPs. Dr.A.Subramanyeswara Rao, president of IMA said Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas had announced that the legal rights would be given to nearly 70,000 RMPs and PMPs who are now unregistered practitioners to provide health services to the public. Dr.Sarma, Secretary of the IMA said that there were a number MBBS doctors and trained ANMs and trained nurses who are posted in villages and they can be used to serve people.
