APEPDCL adds two more online Apps

Visakhapatnam:: The APEPDCL has added two more online Apps- Bharat QR, Bhim App UPI for easy payment of bills through its website www.apeasternpower.com. These are in addition to the Eastern Power Mobile App. This was disclosed by CMD M.M.Nayak on Friday. For payment of bills by using Bharat QR, the consumers have to register with any nationalized bank mobile app. For the Bhim App UPI, one has to download and install the App from Google Playstore for Android users and Apps store for IOS users.

First container rake to Nepal flagged off

The first rake to Nepal, comprising 9-0 containers was flagged off by VPT Chairman M.T.Krishna Babu at the Visakha Container Terminal Private Limited on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Government of Nepal had notified Visakhapatnam as the second port of call after Kolkata-Haldia. This is the first time a full-fledged rail rake is going to Nepal.

AU Vice-Chancellor meets President

Andhra Univeristy Vice-Chancellor G.Nageswara Rao met President Ramnath Kovind in New Delhi on Thursday. He congratulated on getting elected as President. He handedover a memento and invited him to visit the University. The President told the Vice Chancellor that he had visited the university once in 2002.

Retails to include buyers’ details in bills

To ease the problems faced by the buyers in availing input tax credit, all retail market stores must include buyer’s name, address and GSTIN in invoiced while billing. Failure to do so will result in levy of a penalty up to Rs.25,000 under Central GST Act.

Training classes for advocates

Training classes for advocates will be organized on Saturday and Sunday at VUDA children Theatre. Justice U.Durga Prasada Rao of Hyderabad High Court will deliver lecture. Principal District and Sessions Judge P.V.Jyothirmayi will participate.
