Dharna staged with empty vessels

CPI(M) leaders staged a dharna today at the GVMC zone office at Surya Bagh with empty vessels alleging water scarcity in Yellammathota area. The residents were facing hardships and the supply by tankers was inadequate, they alleged.

The results of APPGECET-2017 will be released at Dr.Y.V.S.Murthi Auditorium, Andhra University College of Engineering at 5pm according to a press release. City boy wins gold medal and cash award of Rs.1.11 lakh

City boy Pratham Tated won gold medal and cash award of Rs.1.11 lakh in skating in age group of 13-15 at the All India Challenge Cup held in Delhi on Saturday. Coaches of Sivaji Park Skating Rink, where he practice everyday P.Satyam and K.Chitti Babu congratulated for winning the medal.

Training programme for R&B Engineers

A one-day orientation programme on new engineering methods will be conducted for R&B Engineers of North Coastal and East Godavari districts by National Academy of Construction on May 23. Principal Secretary, R&B and Director General of NAC, Sumita Dawra, additional Director General V.K.Vijayasree, superintending engineer and other officials will participate according to NAC regional director G.Chittibabu.
