Woman’s body found

A highly decomposed body of a 40 year old unidentified woman was found in suspicious circumstances in a house at Ganapathi Nagar area under Gajuwaka police station limits on Monday. The police suspect that she might have died about five days ago. The local informed the police of bad smell emanating from a house and the police broke open found the body of a woman. A suspicious death case has been registered by the police.

CPI(M) demands to handover hawala case to CBI

CPI(M) State secretary Ch.Narasinga Rao has demanded that the money laundering case involving over Rs.1,600 crore be handed over to the Enforcement Directorate or the CBI. Speaking to media on Monday, he said that the case was entrusted to CID to shield politicians who used the network to flow their black money out of the country. He said that the CID is not competent investigating agency to probe the case. ED or CBI were the only agencies who have the know-how to handle such cases. If the State government really intends to get into the depth of the case, then it should be handed over to the ED or CBI, he said.

YSRCP seeks White Paper on IT jobs

The YSRCP has demanded a White Paper on jobs provided to engineering graduates by IT Companies after the TDP government came to power. YSRCP official spokesperson P.Murthy Yadav said no new IT company began functioning after the new government took over in spite of the tall claims made during the two CII summits. Besides only three of the 12 companies that had been allotted land at the Rushikonda IT SEZ were functioning, he said.
