Dental camp held

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, IDA Greater Visakhapatnam conducted a detailed oral examination and cancer screening camp in the Department of Dental Surgery, AMC, KGH. Around 70 people attended the screening test and were advised to leave the habit of tobacco said Dr.L.Chandrasekhar, Secretary, IDA Greater Visakhapatnam, Dr.V.Varaprasad, Prof. and HoD Dental Wing KGH.

Blood donation camp

A blood donation camp conducted by CIST at NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant in association with Lions Club of Visakhpatnam evoked a good response on Wednesday. As many as 53 CISF personnel donated blood. NTPC General Manager H.S.Sahoo inaugurated the camp.

APPCB to conduct competitions

Competitions in painting, essay writing and debate will be held for school children under the auspices of the AP Pollution Control Board in connection with World Environment Day at the Public Library on June 3.
