Visakhapatnam tops in APPGECET-2017

The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test results of which were announced on Monday, Visakhapatnam district secured top 7 ranks followed by Prakasam district in the 14 disciplines.

The test was held online in various centres from May 10 to 12. In Visakhapatnam, a total of 3,729 appeared for the test and of them, 3,491 qualified recording a pass percentage of 93.62.

Visakhapatnam recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.62, it was 93.44 in Hyderabad. The percentage of qualified male candidates was 91.95 and female candidates was 91.76. A total of 26.677 candidates got through the test.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao released the results. He said that the results can be accessed by logging on to www.ache.ap.gov.in or www.andhrauniversity.edu.in. He said that the EAMCET counselling would begin on June 7.
