YSRCP to stage a ‘Maha dharna’ seeking CBI probe in land scam

YSRCP has decided to organize a ‘maha dharna’ on June 22 in the city to press for a Central Bureau of Investigation in the multi crore land scam.

The party that termed the formation of SIT to probe into the issue by the government is nothing but an eye wash. It declared that it would take up the issue to the people to expose the involvement of Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh-Minister for IT and HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and others in tampering of revenue records.

Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate I the day long maha dharna. Party city president Gudivada Amarnath met the Commissioner of Police T.Yoganand and sought permission for the day long dharna. The Commissioner of Police asked him to explore holding it near the GVMC Gandhi statue due to space constrain at the Collectorate. Amarnath said that they are expecting permission in a day or two. He said that Left parties and the Lok Satta will be invited to participate as they have been siding with us in taking cudgels against the corrupt practices followed by the TDP government, he said.

Amarnath said that the leaders of BJP-TDP coalition were making contradictory statements. It may be recalled that BJP MLA P.Vishnu Kumar Raju had sought a CBI probe.
