AP HRD Minsiter Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that all the girls’ hostels, construction of which has been completed, in model schools will be inaugurated soon.

The hostels had been built with all modern facilities at Tegada in Kasimkota mandal. The girls’ hostel in the school should be readied for inauguration, he said. In the State, 163 model schools are set up with a cost of Rs.662 crore to impart education from Class VI to Intermediate with each school accommodation 500 students.

Earlier in the day, he administered MR vaccine to students. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Rs.23,209 crore was being spent on education of that Rs.12,000 crore for infrastructure in schools.
