HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that despite the financial crisis about Rs.23,000 crore was allocated to the education sector this financial year.

Speaking at the Andhra Pradesh Sarva Siksha Abhiyan’s Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Educational News Feature Awards 2016 on Thursday, he said that the government was on a mission to impart value based, quality education to the students. ‘ There are some lacunae in the education sector and within the next few years, all the short comings will be addressed.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao launched a logo of on menstrual hygiene, which was selected as part of the Sahaja Logo Competition conducted by the APSSA. APSSA Project Director G.Srinivas spoke on the occasion.
