‘Uphold sanctity of news says’, Chairman of Press Academy of AP

Chairman of Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh V.Vasudeva Deekshithulu interacting with media on Monday said there were many undesirable things the media houses were practicing.

Deekshithulu, who had a long stint as editor of a Telugu daily was critical of the outsourcing concept. All publications and news channels should do away with the concept of outsourcing, he said. Journalist today are fortunate as there are number of academic platforms where they can learn nuances of the job.

He said that the academy would soon hold workshops and training classes for journalists in all the 13 districts in phases.
