A large number of candidates of APPSC Group II mains examinations staged protest when more than 200 computers suddenly hanged up at the examination centre today. The first objective examination in a series of three objective type examinations on Saturday and Sunday was scheduled to start at 2.30pm today. The examination was delayed due to some technical glitches in most of the rooms of the examination centre.

GITAM University spokesperson said that the problem was due to the software installed by the TCS that was appointed by the government for the examination. The systems belongs to the TCS and were not responsible for any glitches.

DRO CCS Reddy told the media that 354 candidates appeared for the examination and other candidates didn’t turn up even after our requests. He said that the APPSC will take a final decision on the issue.
