AP Chambers and AP Tourism department to host investors’ meet

Regional tourism investors and stakeholders meet will be held in the city on October 27 to give quick clearance of project proposals and simplication procedures.

AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation president G.Sambasiva Rao and its Tourism Sub-Committee chairman K.Lakshminarayana told the media that the government is keen on developing Visakhapatnam as tourist capital of the State. The government was also keen on exploring the tourist potential of other regions in the State. On the suggestion of the Tourism Minister, the APCCIF in association with the State Tourism department was organizing the regional meet.

Projects pertaining to Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts would be discussed in the meet and the second would be held in Hyderabad on November 4, the meets to be held at Kurnool, Tirupati and Vijayawada have been tentatively fixed for November 10, 17 and 24.

The Minister for Tourism Akhila Priya would participate in the regional meet in Visakhapatnam.
