The exhibition conducted during the three-day AP AgTech Summit at the APIIC grounds near Harbour Park which concluded on Friday will be thrown open to the public during the weekend.

Minister for Agriculture S.Chandra Mohan Reddy said due to the overwhelming response to the exhibition, they had decided to allow public to visit various stalls. The exhibition is a platform to showcase various machineries and technologies in 75 stalls to maximise farming yield and to make agriculture sustainable, became a big hit among the delegates.

Micro soft co-founder Bill Gates, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu went round the stalls and praised the organizers for their enthusiastic participation.

Bobbili veena presented to Bill Gates::

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has presented a glass framed Bobbili veena and a few other items as mementos. At the end of valedictory of the AP AgTech Summit that was conducted jointly by the State government, CII and Dalberge, Chandrababu presented him along with the famous veena, a hand-woven sari of Uppada and a portrait of the co-founder of Microsoft.
