City to host agriculture hackathon

Several experts around 300 delegates and 500 farmers from various parts will take part in the first-ever agriculture hackathon being organized here by the State government in association with the CII from November 15.

The hackathon being attended by Microsoft Corporation co-founder Bill Gates, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu according to B.Rajasekhar, Principal Secretary (Agriculture).

Bill gates will attend the valedictory on November 17. He said that 500 farmers from across the State and other States as well as 250 agriculture students would participate in the event. On the second day, Union Agriculture Minister Radhamohan Singh would participate. An exhibition would be organized with 50 stalls to showcase the latest agriculture technologies and products of companies. The CII would lend support to the government in organizing the event.
