The Transport department has approved the opening of Common Service Centres in both urban and rural area as part of extension of services.

According to RTA sources, the motorists need no longer go to the office for obtaining driving license, renewal, registration of their vehicle and other works. The RTA has conducted a training programme for CSC operators today. Deputy Transport Commissioner S.Venkateswara Rao said already registration of vehicles was being done online from the premises of the automobile dealers. Now. Measures were being taken up to process the applications pertaining to issue of licences and other works at the CSCs. The applicants can furnish their details at the CSCs and get them uploaded online. The fee for online services could be paid through CSC gateway, SBI MOPS or ‘PayU’.
