Visakhapatnam MP K.Haribabu today inaugurating a geriatric waiting lounge at LV Prasad Eye Institute here said the private sector should supplement the efforts of the State government in rendering quality health care to all.

The waiting lounge was funded by Aurobindo Pharma. Haribabu complimented the LVPEI for extending yeoman service to prevent blindness and ensure better eye health. The meeting was held as part of the 11th anniversary function of LVPEI Vizag campus at Health City.

The MP also complimented Aurobindo Pharma for contributing funds under CSR for setting up first of its kind geriatric eye care centre at LPVEI on March 2016. The Chairman of LVPEI G.N.Rao explained their plans to develop Centres of Innovation and primary eye care centre in the State.
