NSTL wall issue – BJP leaders meets Union Defence Minister

BJP leaders led by party city president M.Nagendra and MLC P.V.N.Madhav today met Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman at INS Dega during her visit to the city.

They urged her to expedite permission from the Defence Ministry for shifting the wall of NSTL to make way for laying a bypass road. The issue had come to a definite stage owing to the efforts of MLA PGVR Naidu and the process should be accelerated, she said.

The laying of the bypass road will provide a greate relieve to the residents of Indiranagar, Lakshminagar, Susarla Colony, Madhavadhara, Vepagunta and Simhachalam, they said in a memorandum submitted to her.
