Veteran photo journalist K.Bhaskara Rao will be receiving the M.A.Rahim Best Photographer award selected by the State government for the year 2009 at a ceremony to be held in Vijayawada on September 24.

A freelance photographer since 1982, Bhaskar Rao was among the few photojournalists of the region to cover major events in the city for leading media organizations back then.
