School celebrates Space Week

Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan exhibited various models on the campus to mark ‘World Space Week’ celebrations on Tuesday. Focusing on the theme ‘exploring new world in space, the students took part in activities such as quiz and drawing contests. Programme coordinator of Nehru Planetarium of Nehru Centre, Mumbai Suhas B.Naik Satam inaugurated the programme.

ANITS student wins gold medal

Student of Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (Autonomous) PKR Murali Krishna bagged gold medal and Ch.Sai Kishore of Andhra University secured silver medal in the inter-collegiate Best Physique championship that concluded at Dr.L.Bullayya College on Monday.

IGNOU coordinators meet

The regional centre of IGNOU is organizing a two-day coordinators’ meeting on Thursday and Friday at the centre located at Ushodaya junction, MVP Colony. The local coordinators will brief on the support services provided to students. Regional Director of IGNOU S.Raja Rao and assistant regional director Dharma Rao Gonipati will take part in the meet.

European IT Firm begins operations

European IT Company Fejlett Technology launched its operations in the city on Tuesday with focus on IoT, Cyber Security, Blockchain, fintech and other digital solutions. The office was inaugurated by Special Chief Secretary and IT Adviser to Chief Minister J.A.Chowdary.
