Commanding Officer of 13 Andhra Battalion Col.DVLNSS Raju visited Mrs.AVN College today. He is an alumnus of the college. On this occasion, college principal E.Annapurna felicitated him. Addressing the students and NCC cadets he laid stress on discipline, hard work and time management.

Faculty development programme

National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will be conducting an Faculty development programme entrepreneurship development at St.Jospeh’s College for Women from October 23 to November 4.

Statue installation

A 100 foot statue of Adisankaracharya will be installed at Amaravati and arrangement shave been going on for it for the past six months according to Sri Sarada Peetham trustee Kameswara Sarma. Head of Sarada Peetham Sri Swroopanandendra Saraswati would unveil the statue, he told the pressmen on the eve of the Swamji’s birthday. Special pujas would be performed at the Peetham at China Mushidivada and his devotees would organize service activities all over the State, he said.
