The three member team led by DIG Vineet Brijlal along with Joint Collector G.Srijana and RDO Vijaya Saradhi met the Commissioner of Police Yoganand and handed over the report. It may be recalled that the SIT was constituted on June 21, 2017 and it got down to work on June 25. The report would have handed over to the DGP who in return would submit it to the government through the Chief Secretary said sources. The SIT was given only two months’ time for the inquiry but due to various difficulties, the government has given two extensions. The SIT’s term ended on December 28.
