‘Many atrocity cases go unreported’, says Muslim Thinkers’ Forum

A meeting organized by Muslim Thinkers’ Forum today called for unity of Dalits, adivasis, Christian and Muslim groups in the growing atmosphere of intolerance during the last four years.

Forum Convener A.M.Khan Yazdani speaking to media said attacks on trains in the name of beef-transporting took place in various partws of the country. In Hyderabad alone, 5,000 to 6,000 SC/ST atrocity cases were registered every year and those not registered were doube the number, he alleged.

He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was part of NDA up to 2004. In the 2005 May ‘Mahansdu’ of the party he admitted that he had made a mistake by aligning with communal forces and tendered an apology to Muslims, he said. But again formed an alliance with the BJP and he would win the election for him.
