AU Engineering College grounds are the venue for TDP Mahanadu

The annual Telugu Desam Party Mahanadu will be held at AU Engineering College Grounds from May 27, 2017.

TDP State president and Minister for Power Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao said that four other venues at Hanumanthavaka, APIIC Grounds, Mudasaralova and Pragati Maidan were considered by the party coordination committee. The Committee however have its nod for AU Engineering College grounds in view of its accessibility.

The coordination committee met. Kala Venkata Rao, Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa R&B Minister Ch.Ayyannapatrudu and HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MLC MVVS Murty, MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, Anakapalli MP M.Srinivasa Rao and several MLAs participated.

Kala Venkata Rao said that fifteen committees would be formed for the conduct of the Mahanadu. He said a political resolution would be passed, government programmes reviewed and implementation of schemes for the uplift of SC/STs and irrigation and agriculture, construction of 10 lakh houses would be reviewed.
