DYFI claims ‘universities bandh for SCS grand success’

The State wide universities bandh, organized under the aegis of the Democratic Youth Federation of India and Students Federation of India seeking implementation of Special Category Status for the State and declaration of railway zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam was a grand success.

The bandh was successful at Andhra University, GITAM, Petro University, IIM-Visakhapatnam with students voluntarily participating in the bandh. The students took out a rally from Andhra University College of Engineering to the Three Town Police Station and a protest meeting was held at GITAM.
