HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao promises women’s degree college

AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has promised a women’s degree college at Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam.

Speaking at a meeting after inaugurating six class rooms, four laboratory rooms and a office at Parawada Junior College constructed at a cost of Rs.1.5 crore funded under CSR by NTPC, he said with the importance given to education, Sabbavaram turned into an educational hub. He gave away pensions and Chandranna Bhima cheques to persons belonging to E.Bonangi, Chipurupalli and Parawada. He laid a foundation stone for stadium costing Rs.3 crore.

Together with Visakhapatnam MLA PVGR Naidu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao laid a foundation for road work costing Rs.189.8 crore at Yellapuvanipalem and CC roads and drains (Rs.23 lakh). He laid foundation for Rs.90 lakh worth development works at YSR Nagar, community hall and road at Chandanagar.
