MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju flays remarks on Jagan’s support to NDA

BJP Floor leader in Assembly P.Vishnu Kumar Raju has welcomed Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for extending support to the party in the Presidential election.

He took exception to the TDP MLC Y.Rajendra Prasad questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi giving an appointment to Jagan Reddy alleging him to be an economic offender. He said that Rajendra Prasad has no right to comment against the Prime Minister. He said that Jagan was the Leader of the Opposition with a mandate of 1.27 crore people only six lakhs less than that of the TDP.

Vishnu Kumar Rau countered the criticism of Minister for Transport Atchnnaidu who commented that Jagan had campaigned that the BJP was against Muslims in the general elections and how the support could be accepted. He appreciated the support but felt sorry for Jagan harping on the Special Category Status which was a closed chapter.
