Rooftop solar systems for 144 municipal schools

Visakhapatnam MP K.Hari Babu said that the proposal to install rooftop solar systems in 144 municipal schools will be taken up shortly. 25% of the total cost will be released under MPLADS funds.

Participating at a programme on the eve of Teachers’ Day, he emphasized the need to provide basic amenities in all government and municipal schools. Awards were presented to 52 headmasters, headmistresses, teachers, school assistants, secondary grade teachers and licensed professional teachers of various municipal schools, ZP schools and primary schools on ZP office premises.

District Collector Pravin Kumar participated as Chief Guest.
