Six candidates are in the race for RINL CMD selection

The Public Enterprises Selection Board will conduct interviews for selection of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of RINL from among the shortlisted six candidates in New Delhi on March 27.

The tenure of the present incumbent P.Madhusudhan, who took over as the CMD on January 1, 2014 will expire on attaining superannuation on May 31. The PESP will recommend one of the selected candidates for the appointment before the post falls vacant.

The short listed candidates include P.K.Rath, Director (Operations), K.C.Das, Director (Personnel), V.V.Venugopala Rao, Director (Finance) and Executive Directors P.S.Gupta and R.Nagarajan (all are from RINL). The lone candidate from outside Alok Sahay is at present working as ED in the Steel Authority of India Limited.
