Techie Ippala Ravindra arrested and booked under SC/ST Act

The police has arrested Ippala Ravindra, a techie from Bengaluru was arrested and interrogated by the police of the SC/ST Atrocities Cell here for allegedly posting objectionable content in a popular social media site on Payakaraopeta MLA V.Anitha. The Vizag police arrested him in Bengaluru and brought him here.

Sources said that Ravindra is a native of Narasaraopeta of Guntur district and an MBA graduate. Police registered cases under the SC/ST Atrocities Act and also Section 67 of the IT Act and 291 of IPC.

It may be recalled that he was arrested and brought to Visakhapatnam. [1]
