YHAI expedition flagged off

A team of Youth Hostels Association of India left the city for south Indian adventure motor cycles on Monday. The team includes YHAI Visakha district unit former vice-president L.Sudhakara Babu and Dr.Aziz. The expedition was flagged off by YHAI Visakha District unit president N.Nageswara Rao and former president Paluri Seshumamba.

IPM for ACP Visakhapatnam

Assistant Commissioner of Police – East Annepu Narasimha Murty has been selected for Indian Police Medal for 2017. Narasimha Murty joined the police force as SI in 1991 and rose to the post of DSP in 2014.

Passing out ceremony

Andhra University and Defence sector will go a long way in taking up collaborative academic programmes said G.Nageswara Rao, Vice Chancellor, AU. He was speaking at the passing out ceremony of the first certificate course designed by AU for the personnel form the armed forces.

Mega medical camp conducted

Gangavaram Port Trust conducted a mega medical camp at Venkannapalem village in Pedagantyada mandal on Sunday. Over 509 villagers were examined and treated by doctors. Medicines were distributed free of cost. This was the third mega camp conducted by GPL in the same village.

Vocational training centre

Lions Club, Visakhapatnam will be inaugurating its vocational training centre on Wednesday at the Lions Community Centre, Ramnagar. The vocation training centre will be inaugurated by Rer Admiral (Retired) T.Sudhakar.
