Heli tourism to resume in May

Heli-tourism trips organized by VUDA in association with Pawan Hans, came to a halt as the approvals given by the Naval authorities ended on Tuesday. A VUDA release said that the tourist season also came to an end. The heli-tourism will be resumed in May after approvals introducing new circuit. During the season that had begun on December 29, as many as 657 tourists took the tourism trips.

41 arrested in CTF raids on gambling dens

CTF teams raided gambling dens at Rangireeju Veedhi, Relli Veedhi, Old Venkojipalem, Appughar, Adarsh Nagar and PM Palem and apprehended 41 persons who were indulging in gambling. The CTF teams also seized Rs.2, 67, 370 and playing cards from their possession. The raids were conducted under the supervision of ACP I.Chittibabu.

Chandrababu to address lady entrepreneurs’ meet

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will address a conference being organized by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India in collaboration with the State government on innovation, incubation and industrialization at Hotel Novotel on Wednesday.

Five day cultural mela

VUDA is organizing a five-day cultural mela beginning with the inauguration of Gurajada Kalakshetram by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and culminating in the discourse of noted scholar Chaganti Koteswara Rao on the fifth day on Sunday. During the inauguration, Manjula Ramaswamy and her team will perform ‘deepala nrityam’.
